Tomato Bar shares Magic Potion for Craft Pies with Lake County
About five months ago we visited Valparaiso’s yummy Tomato Bar and professed our love in our GlutenFree219 blog. We are tickled to find that the owners are spreading their Porter County gem out west to Lake County with a brand new Schererville location!!
We love places that put effort into naming their specialty items and that’s just one reason why we love The Tomato Bar. The menu is chock full of cool pizza names and we wanted to give you a glimpse!
So we had THE REEF – it was delicious!
This gluten-free pie has a Pesto base with provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, chicken, ham, hardwood smoked bacon, pineapple, banana peppers and jerk sauce swirl.
We can’t wait to try the others! Here are a few that sound interesting, all prices listed are for a small gluten-free specialty pizza!

The Tomato Bar offers sandwiches with equally cool names and ALL are available with Gluten-Free Bread!!!! You have a few days to catch the Pizza of the Month – “THE SANCHO”. This feature pie offers a black bean base, mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, ground beef, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, avocado, and a chipotle-garlic swirl! Yum!
